Thursday Thirteen

Hello everyone!

With the upcoming release of Winter’s Shadow I thought I would give you a sneak peek for Thursday Thirteen. I picked a fun scene between Julia and Mark. Hope you enjoy. ๐Ÿ™‚

Each night, he would walk her to her bedroom door and her heart seemed to melt a little each time. He would take her hand and place a light kiss across her knuckles, making her feel like she had been transported back in time. Last night, she had even kind of wished he might try to kiss her lips. But in the end he hadnโ€™t, and she had not been brave enough to try to kiss him.
โ€œWhat in the world are you doing out here?โ€
She spun around to see Mark standing on the edge of the porch, his coat not even zipped up. โ€œWhat does it look like Iโ€™m doing? Iโ€™m playing in the snow.โ€
โ€œArenโ€™t you a little old to be playing in the snow?โ€ He smiled mischievously at her.
She leaned down and scooped some snow and packed it into a tight ball. โ€œYou calling me old? โ€™Cuz themโ€™s fightinโ€™ words.โ€

Uh oh. Looks like Mark may end up eating snow. Check out Winter’s Shadow to see what happens next. Release date December 13th 7PM EST http://www.liquidsilverbooks.com

Best Wishes,

  1. Yay! for winter stories! ๐Ÿ™‚ I’m glad you left the sentences as they appear in the story – better flow that way.

A belated Happy TT to you – hopefully next week I’ll be more prompt. ๐Ÿ˜‰
