The Holidays are such a busy time of the year. But even with all the hustle and bustle, I still seem to find a little magic in the air. A few years ago was the first time I ever stopped to read a Holiday based romance. I always seemed so busy with all my favorite series and then just everything the holiday included that I didn’t seem to have time. So my very first was Johanna Lindsey’s The Present. I had already fell in love with her Malory novels so why not. From then on I have tried my best to read at least one Holiday book–if not more–a year. So far this year I have had the pleasure of reading Ghost of Christmas Past by Xakara, and I am hoping to start A Magical Christmas by Heather Graham in the next few days.
With this joy for reading came the want to write a Christmas time novella. So in the month of May when the sun shined, I immersed myself into the memories I had of a small town in PA. The snow there is like awesome. Probably not to those who live there, but for me it was neat because I don’t see it often.
So here is my way of showing a little Christmas cheer, with a second chance at love for the Holidays in Winter’s Shadow.

Living for years amidst a whirlwind of fear and danger, Julia Farris finally snaps free from the bonds that kept her in Arizona. But when she arrives in her hometown of Edinboro, Pennsylvania, she realizes she’s jumped out of the frying pan and into the fire.

With the death of his parents, Mark Webb went to part time at the local police department to run his parents’ bed and breakfast, a job he’s begun to think very lonely until his old high school flame shows up.

As Julia tries to seize control of her life, she finds herself intrigued with the possibilities presented by Mark’s presence. But getting closer to Mark might spell disaster. What’s a girl to do when one ex might be dead and the other wears a badge?
Releases December 13th at 7PM EST at Liquid Silver Books.

But now for the question. Santa will soon be here. So tell me which of these lovely santas you would like to sneak up on as they place your “fill in the blank” present under your tree?
Number 1

Number 2

Number 3

or will it be,
Number 4

Best Wishes,

  1. Mmm… number 2, please! Some of the others seem like they might already be a little exhausted from uh… holiday exertions 😉 Happy weekend, Virginia!

  2. I would pick #1. He looks so comfortable in that bed. Looks like he is waiting just for me to join him!!

    Happy Holidays to everyone!!!

  3. OMG! That is VERY hard question indeed…..I think I will go with #2…but IF ANY of these santas showed up at my house gurrrrl they would be in trouble!

  4. Number 4 got my vote, and I wore him out to make sure that those new pleasure lubricants really work! (They do, they do!)

  5. I love Number 4. He’s on my desktop background right now. I’m dying to discover what he’s hiding under that pile of hay.
